The 5-speed Manual Transmission is designed to be a flexible architectural platform that can handle a torque range from 200 Nm to 320 Nm in its different variants. The integral 2-piece construction with aluminium housing provides improved rigidity against torsional deflection and optimum weight.
The gears of the unit are hone-finished and perform with low NVH characteristics. The synchronizer subsystem includes high performance steel-based carbon lined synchronizers for better shift feel and comfort. Variants include non-synchronized reverse or the optional high performance durable synchronized reverse for shuttle operations that may be required in commercial vehicles. The synchronizers can also be tailored for various applications as per customer requirements.
The high compatibility of the rear adapter of the 5-speed Manual Transmission with our entire range of single and double offset transfer cases, with option of manual shift, electric shift, power take-off, permanent AWD with differential locks and options for reduction ratios and centre distances, makes the product very easily adaptable for several business applications.
