The Bhosari and Sirsi plants have over 70 best-of-breed machines of German, Russian and Indian make, most of them CNC, that support all the manufacturing operations required for the components manufactured as also ensure a high degree of accuracy and precision in the manufacturing of the products largely for those used in the Transfer Case – Clutches, Flanges/ Yokes, Gears, Reduction Sets, Shafts.

At Bhosari, finishing operations – machining of Aluminum Castings and hard finishing such as grinding and hard turning for the Transfer Cases are undertaken. Metal forming and heat treatment requirements are coordinated through a global network of suppliers.

Throughout the machining cycle, quality inspections are preformed after each machining operation to verify dimensional accuracy. Data is collected and recorded for each machining operation by our Quality Team in accordance with customer requirements and TS 16949.

Manufacturing processes and programs are closely coordinated to achieve an optimal match of resources in the machine shop for effective cost, quality, and delivery. The utilization of tools such as PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Layouts, SPC & MSA and meticulous planning through maintenance of route sheets, process monitoring sheets, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis studies, inspections and Poka Yokes to deliver defect free products to customers have been honed over the years to get that 100% Right-First-Time effect.

Decision making involves full team participation and involvement. The team often consists of manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, customers and suppliers.

Testing & Inspection

Divgi-TTS performs first piece, incoming, in-process, and final inspections throughout the entire manufacturing cycle to ensure the highest quality of every component that is manufactured. All incoming material (hardware, raw material, and components returning from an outside process) is thoroughly inspected for material condition, special process specification and chemical composition before it is issued to the machine shop. All reports created during the manufacturing process are retained.

To maintain the quality of products to our customers, Divgi-TTS has equipped itself with inspection equipments, sourced from the world’s best. Our Standards Room is equipped with various types of Inspection/ Measuring Equipments that help maintain the quality standards required by TS 16949:-

Apart from the above, Divgi-TTS has various kind of measuring instruments on the manufacturing shop for in process inspection so as to help us effectively detect quality at source. Other non-destructive testing processes such as pressure, vacuum and leak testing are conducted in accordance with customer specifications.

Mechanical Assembly

All assemblies are done at the Bhosari facility. The assembly lines at are semiautomatic with Poka Yokes at various stages. The products are 100% tested on test stands for functionality and dimensionally by multigauging. A group of extensively trained engineers qualified to perform a wide range of assemblies; form simple two component assemblies to complex assemblies with detailed work instructions to ensure the consistent quality and repeatability of each assembly.
